NCHM JEE 2018- 
NCHMCT has announced the seat allotment result of round three. For that, it started the online registration and choice filling for this final round on June 25. Earlier, it has announced the result of the second round of seat allotment on June 18. It provided the window for choice filling (round 2) from June 14 onwards. Registered candidates could fill their choices till June 17. The official body declared the result of round one of seat allotment on June 6. Candidates could check their result by logging in. The online registration and choice filling for first and second round of counselling was commenced on May 26 and continued tilll June 4. The result of NCHM JEE 2018 was released on May 21, 2018 by the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. NCHMCT JEE 2018 was conducted on April 28 for admissions to the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Hotel Administration programmes. The admit card of NHCM JEE 2018 was released on April 20 at 5 PM. Along with the admit card, NCHMCT also released the counselling schedule of NCHM JEE. NCHMCT is an autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India that runs and regulates academics for these professional courses that are offered at the affiliated 21 central institutes of hotel management, 2 new state IHMs (subject to clearance), 20 state government institutes of hotel management, 14 private institutes of hotel management and 1 public sector undertaking. A total of 8,124 seats will be allotted across the NCHM JEE 2018 participating institutes on merit basis. B.Sc. programmes in hospitality and hotel administration are offered jointly by the NCHM and the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). NCHM JEE Counselling 2018

 

NCHMCT has announced the counselling schedule for NCHM JEE 2018. Online registration and Choice Filling for the first two rounds commenced from May 26, while Choice Locking started from June 3, 2018. The final or spot counselling round took place between June 25 to 28. On the behalf of NCHMCT, National Informatics Centre (NIC), conducts the first two rounds of NCHM JEE 2018 counselling as well the final or spot round on the basis of candidates’ merit in the entrance exam. The counselling and seat allotment for admissions comprise the following steps-

  1. Online registration

  2. Choice filling and locking

  3. Online seat allotment

  4. Reporting to reporting centres (RCs) after seat allocation and payment of fee

  5. Withdrawal of allotted seat and refund rule

  6. Spot round counselling

NCHM JEE Seat Allotment 2018

NCHMCT has now announced the result of third round of NCHM JEE 2018 seat allotment. The procedure of seat allocation was commenced from June 6 onwards with the declaration of the first round of allotment. NCHM JEE seat allotment 2018 result for second round was declared on June 18. NCHMCT JEE 2018 seat allotment is done on merit basis of candidates’ All India Rank and choice of institute exercised by the candidate. 

 

NCHM JEE Result 2018

 

NCHMCT was expected to declare the result of NCHM JEE 2018 on May 18 but due to some technical issues, the result of NCHMCT JEE has been announced on May 21. Candidates, who appeared for the entrance exam, can check the result in online mode only. They will be able to check the marks obtained. Test-takers will be shortlisted on the basis of the minimum qualifying marks criteria of NCHM JEE 2018. The seat allotment will be done on basis of NCHM JEE 2018 merit list prepared after the announcement of results.

 

NCHM JEE Cutoff 2018

 

NHCMCT, the exam conducting body, is announcing the cutoff of NCHM JEE 2018 which is opening and closing ranks across the participating institutes. The opening and closing ranks after NCHM JEE 2018 for different categories are being declared by NCHMCT for all the participating colleges that will accept scores of the national level hotel management entrance test.

 

NCHM JEE Reservation Criteria 2018

 

Seats will be allocated to qualified and eligible candidates in accordance with the reservation criteria of NCHM JEE 2018. The reservation criteria is followed by all participating institutes for admissions. The NCHMCT JEE reservation criteria 2018 can be checked below:

NCHM JEE Participating Institutes 2018

 

There are as many as 58 NCHM JEE 2018 participating institutes including centrally funded, state funded and private institutes that will offer a total of 8,124 seats in B.Sc. programmes. National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) will admit only those candidates, who have qualified NCHM JEE 2018 as per the minimum qualifying marks. Moreover, it reserves the right to add or reduce the number of institutes and seats.

 

About B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration Programme

The three-year (six semesters) professional course equip the students with the required skills and knowledge for effectively discharge responsibilities in the hospitality domain. It will include in-depth studies of food production, food & beverage service, front office operation, housekeeping, etc.

 

NCHM JEE Selection Procedure 2018

 

NCHMCT will shortlist the candidates on basis of marks and ranks obtained by them in NCHM JEE 2018. A merit list will be prepared on basis of the result of NCHM JEE 2018, and those securing higher marks will be ranked higher in the merit list.

NCHM JEE Admit Card 2018

 

Admit card of NCHM JEE 2018 was released on April 20 at 5 PM. Candidates had to download the hall ticket online on or before April 28 as the conducting institute would not send it via post. They must check the NCHM JEE 2018 admit card carefully for all the entries made therein. In case of any discrepancy, the candidate should have immediately brought to the notice of JEE Cell in the council via email at [email protected]

 

A copy of NCHM JEE admit card 2018 duly self-attested had to be deposited with invigilator for his/her signature. It has to be kept safe and produced for appearing during counselling. Another copy is retained at the examination centre.

 

NCHM JEE Eligibility Criteria 2018

 

NCHMCT has announced the eligibility criteria of NCHM JEE 2018 for candidates, who will be appearing for the entrance test. They will be required to fulfil the prescribed academic qualification, age limit, along with the other criteria.

  • Candidates must clear 10+2 system of senior secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects.

  • They must have passed English as a subject of study (core/elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.

  • Candidates, who are appearing in 10+2 or equivalent exam, are also allowed to appear for NCHM JEE 2018 on provisional basis.

  • General and OBC category candidates must not be more than 22 years of age as on July 1 of the year of admission.

NCHM JEE Application Form 2018

 

NCHMCT made available NCHM JEE 2018 application form and information brochure from December 24, 2017, onwards. The application fee was Rs.800 for candidates belonging to General and OBC categories. For SC/ST/Physically Handicapped categories, the fee was Rs.400.

  • Register with a valid e-mail ID and password for NCHM JEE 2018.

  • Pay the application fee for NCHMCT JEE 2018 before proceeding to fill the application form.

  • Fill the application form of NCHM JEE 2018 including personal details, academic qualification, and other required details.

  • Upload scanned copy of photograph and signature in specified sizes.

  • Click on “Submit” after filling the application form correctly.

NCHM JEE Exam Pattern 2018

 

Exam pattern of NCHM JEE 2018 comprises complete details about the joint entrance exam such as a total number of questions, maximum marks, sections covered, language of question paper, etc. Check the key points below:

  • Duration- NCHM JEE 2018 will be conducted for three hours.

  • Language of question paper- Question paper of NCHM JEE 2018 will be bilingual, i.e., in Hindi and English (except for English language).

  • Type of questions- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be asked in the entrance exam.

  • Marking scheme- One mark will be rewarded for each correct response under Numerical Ability & Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning & Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs and English Language components. 0.25 marks will be deducted for any wrong answer.
