MAH HM CET Counselling & Seat Allotment 2019 - Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra started registration for MAH HM CET 2019 counselling on June 17, 2019. MAH HM CET counselling and seat allotment 2019 is carried out through a Centralized Allotment Test (CAP). Students whose names are on the merit list will be called for counselling. The different stages of MAH HM CET counselling and seat allotment involves filling of the application form, document verification, seat allotment and reporting to their respective institute to lock their seats. The counselling process for MAH HM CET will take place in three rounds for candidates, depending on the number of seats vacant at the end of each round. MAH HM CET entrance exam is conducted in computer-based for undergraduate level programme in Hotel Management and catering technology (HMCT). How to Participate in MAH HM CET Counselling and Seat Allotment 2019?

Candidates can refer to the steps below to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process of MAH HM CET. Participation in the counselling process involves several steps, such as registration, uploading of scanned images, fee payment for counselling, reporting at admission facilitation centres, and choice filling to name a few.

Steps to Participate in MAH HM CET Counselling?

Step - 1 Register

The qualified candidates will have to register first to take part in the counselling of MHT CET 2019. The step by step process for registration is given below, students can follow them at the time of registration.

  • Click on ‘Sign up’ button

  • Select from the drop down menu the professional degree you are eligible for admission year 2019-2020

  • Are you NRI/PIO/OCI/CIWGC/Foreign National Candidate?. Select (Y/N)

  • Enter country code

  • Mobile number

  • Email ID

  • First name

  • Middle name

  • Last name

  • Date of birth

  • Gender

  • Aadhar number

  • Password

  • Confirm password

After entering all the details, click on 'Register' button. A pop up will appear asking 'You have chosen to register for admission process : --Select Academic Graduation-- Is this correct? Click on 'OK' button to continue. Next, enter the OTP sent on your mobile. Click on 'Register' button.

Step 2 - Sign in

Aspirants have to enter the following to Sign in

  • User ID
  • Password

After entering the details, candidates have to click on 'Sign in ' button. A pop will appear as to the admission process steps, go through it and then click on 'Close' button.

Step 3 - Enter Entrance Exam Details

Student have to enter the following details in the form.

  • Choose the entrance exam from the drop down menu
  • Enter exam seat no/Roll no
  • Candidate's full name as per entrance exam

Step 4 - Upload Documents

Candidates have to upload the following documents, which should be less than 300 KB and in PDF format only.

  • Entrance exam hall ticket
  • Entrance exam score card/ Entrance exam mark sheet
  • Entrance exam application form
  • Undertaking given by the student at the time of entrance exam, if any

After uploading the above-mentioned details, click on 'Save Entrance Exam Details'. A pop will appear mentioning that entrance exam details saved successfully. Click on 'OK' button to continue. Select the stream and then click on 'Save and continue' button.

Step 5 - Upload Documents

Candidates have to upload the following documents in the form, which should not exceed 50 KB. The file should be in jpg, jpeg, bmp and png format.

  • Student's photo
  • Student's signature

Step 6 - Personal Details

Applicants have to mentions some of their personal details, such as:

  • Marital status
  • Mobile number

Correspondence Address Details

  • Address
  • Landmark
  • City
  • State
  • District
  • Taluka

Permanent Address Details

Candidates have to tick against same as correspondence address if permanent address is same.

Category Details

  • Select the category from the drop down menu
  • Caste
  • Religion

After entering the details, click on 'Save and Continue' button.

Step 7 - Select Your nearest Setu Suvidha Kendra

Students have to select the following form the drop down menu in the form:

  • District
  • Taluka
  • Setu Suvidhan Kendra

Once you select your SETU Suvidha Kendra, it will be the same until your confirmation of admission. Next, go ahead to pay one time online document verification charges. Click on 'Pay and Confirm set suvidha kendra. A pop up will appear mentioning 'Setu Suvidhan Kendra' saved successfully.

Step 8 - Make the Payment of Counselling Fee

Candidates can make the payment through net banking, credit card and debit card, The amount that candidates need to pay is Rs. 42.

Step 9 – Take the printout of Counselling Registration Form

After paying the counselling fees, candidates are needed to take the printout of the filled-in application form and take it to the facilitation centres for verification purpose.
Step 10 - Reporting at Admission Facilitation Centres (AFC)

The registered candidates for counselling will have to report to AFC’s for document verification purpose. They have to carry their original documents, along with a set of attested copies to the facilitation centres. Those who fail to report to the facilitation centre will be disqualified from the admission process. Students will have to submit the following document for verification purpose

  • Character Certificate

  • Migration Certificate

  • School Leaving Certificate

Step 11 - Choice Filling

Students have to fill the names of colleges and courses of their choice in the order of their preference. It is advisable to candidates to fill maximum choices to stand a high chance for their admission.
Step 12 - Release of Provisional Merit List

The authorities will publish the final merit list of MAH HM CET 2019, which will include the names of shortlisted candidates. Based on the merit list and choices filled by candidates, the allotment of seats will take place.

MAH HM CET Seat Allotment 2019

Directorate of Technical Education is conducting MAH HM CET 2019 seat allotment through a Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) in online mode in three rounds. Students have to login to check the status of their seat allotment in MAH HM CET 2019. In case they are allotted seats, students will have to download the allotment letter and visit the centre to choose their preferred option - freeze, float or slide for the alloted seat. Those who are satisfied can lock their seat at the institute. The seats will be allotted to students based on their merit , choice filling and availability of seats.

  • Checking of Seat Allotment Status: Students have to enter their application ID and date of birth to check if seat has been allotted to them, or not. If seat has been allotted to them, students will have to download the allotment letter, wherein all the details related to course and college will be mentioned.

  • Reporting at Admission Reporting Centres (ARC’s): Post downloading the allotment letter, students are required to visit their nearest ARC to choose any one of these options - freeze, float or slide for their allotted seat.

Freeze - Students can choose ‘Freeze’ only when they are satisfied with the allotted seat and do not want to participate in next round of counselling.

Float - Students who want to upgrade the seat allotted to them after accepting to a higher preferred choice of course at some other institute, they will have to choose ‘Float.’ In such a case, the previous allotment will be cancelled if they are allotted higher choice.

Slide - Candidates who accepts the allotted seat, but still wish to upgrade it to a higher preferred course in the same institute, they have to choose ‘Slide.’ Upon upgraded seat allotment, the previous allotment will be automatically cancelled.

Reporting at Allotted Institute: The selected candidates will have to visit their respective institute to confirm their seat and admission. They have to complete their admission formalities and pay the fee.
