MGU CAT MTTM 2026 Eligibility Criteria

As per the 2026 official notification, the eligibility criteria to appear for MGU CAT MTTM are that the candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s degree (including professional degrees) with not less than 50% marks in any discipline of Mahatma Gandhi University or any other University recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.

The MGU CAT MTTM application form was released on February 20, 2026, in online mode. The MGU CAT MTTM application last date has been extended till April 30, 2026, on its official website. The application fee for general category candidates is Rs. 1250, and for the SC/ST candidates from Kerala, it is Rs. 625.

Step 1 - Registration

• Visit the official link - cat. mgu.ac.in.
• Click on the "Apply Online" link on the top right of the page.
• Enter the personal details such as name, state of domicile, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc.
• Create a password for yourself (The password must be a combination of numbers, letters, and special characters)
• Click on the “Submit” button towards the end.
• After the registration is over, click on “Save and Continue”.
• After the account has been created, candidates will be given their application number, which has to be used for further login procedures.

• After the registration process is completed, candidates need to upload a scanned copy of the recent passport-size photograph (below 30kb of file size).
• Caps and dark glasses are not acceptable.
• The picture should be in colour, against a light coloured background, preferably white.

Step 3: Filling the Application Form

• To fill the application form for MGU CAT 2026, candidates were required to first log in with the application number provided to them after completing the registration and creating the account and the password.

The MGU CAT rank list 2026 is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test (80%) and interview (20%) for both candidates belonging to Kerala and the All India Open Quota. MGU CAT MTTM 2026 Counselling

The qualified students will be invited for MGU CAT MTTM counselling that will be held in multiple rounds, which include group discussion/ Interview/ descriptive examination. The university will release the interview list of MGU CAT MTTM 2026 on the basis of their ranks obtained. Those candidates who will not be able to attend this round will be considered not eligible for admission. Candidates will be asked to produce the requisite documents at the time of the document verification round during the MGU CAT MTTM counselling.
