The NCHMCT JEE merit list 2026 will be prepared based on the marks secured by candidates in the hotel management entrance exam. In cases where two or more candidates score the same marks in the NCHM JEE result, leading to a tie, the following tie-breaking rule will be applied to rank the candidates. The NCHMCT JEE tie-breaker rule ensures transparency in the seat allotment process.
- Candidates securing higher marks in the English section of NCHMCT JEE 2026 will be ranked higher.
- If two or more candidates secure equal marks in NCHMCT JEE as well as in the English section, then the candidate securing higher marks in the Service Aptitude section of the exam will be ranked higher.
- In case the tie is still not resolved, then the candidate who is older in age will be ranked higher.

The exam consists of 200 questions , and you can attempt as many questions as you like within the given time limit of 3 hours . There is no limit on the number of questions you can attempt from each section.
