Candidates must have passed Class 12 exam of the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi or its equivalent Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council with 50% of marks and English as a compulsory subject.

Candidates completing their Class 12 from Mahila Gram Vidyapith, Allahabad are not eligible to apply for PUTHAT as this institution is not recognized by Panjab University, Chandigarh.
