NCHM JEE Result 2018- National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) will declare NCHM JEE 2018 result in third week of May. The result of NCHMCT JEE will be released in online mode. Candidates, who will appear in NCHM JEE 2018 on April 28, will be shortlisted on the basis of minimum qualifying marks criteria prescribed by National Council of Hotel Management, an autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Qualified candidates can know the marks obtained in the written entrance exam from the NCHM JEE result 2018. Over 8,000 seats will be allotted across 21 central institutes of hotel management, 2 new state IHMs under affiliation process (subject to clearance of inspection), 20 state government institutes of hotel management, 14 private institutes of hotel management and 1 public sector undertaking on merit basis after the announcement of NCHMCT JEE 2018 result. What after result declaration of NCHM JEE 2018?
NCHM JEE 2018 Merit List
NCHMCT will prepare the merit list of NCHM JEE 2018 based on the marks obtained by candidates in the entrance test. In case two candidates have secured equal marks, then the merit will be determined in the following manner:
The candidate, who has scored higher marks in English section of NCHM JEE 2018, will be ranked higher.
If still there is a tie because of equal marks in English component, then the candidate with higher marks in Service Aptitude component will be ranked higher.
In case there is still a tie after considering the above mentioned two scenarios, then the candidate older in age will be ranked higher.
As many as 8124 B.Sc. seats will be allotted across a total of 58 NCHMCT JEE 2018 participating institutes comprising centrally funded, state funded and private institutes.
NCHM JEE Counselling 2018
The admission conducting body will be conducting counselling of NCHMCT JEE 2018 for offering admissions to more than 8,000 seats in undergraduate hospitality programmes. National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology will conduct the NCHM JEE 2018 counselling procedure in last week of May and first week of June. A total of three rounds will be held for offering admissions to the qualified and eligible candidates. It will include verification of candidates’ eligibility and documents, as well as depositing counselling and first-semester fee. Candidates can choose from the available institutes at the time of counselling based on their AIRs.
