Food Production: Food Production is a department in the hotel management and hospitality sector which is involved in preparation of food. A process, in which raw materials are cooked, combined and transformed to make a dish. The scope of food production has been widening at a faster pace in India as well as abroad. There are a number of courses in food production like diploma in food production or certificate in food production, a candidate can opt for.
A diploma is essential, but a degree course is better. Because with a BSc in hospitality course you can bypass the other stages and join as kitchen management trainee (KMT) and start cooking, thus saving three or four years of the grind. Food production has three sections: Bakery, which is making bread and cakes, even chocolates and confectionary items like candies; Speciality Kitchen, where cuisines such as Thai, Mughlai, Japanese, South Indian are made; Cold section, where salads and delicatessen (cold meat cuts) are served.
The chef is the backbone of the food and beverage department. He/ she has the responsibility of preparing food for all specialty restaurants along with performing some other duties such as deciding the menu, maintaining quality of food, supervising the kitchen and so on. Food production courses are normally offered at diploma or certificate level by different hotel management colleges in India. However, few colleges also offer undergraduate degree courses in food production. Apart from this, food production is also taught as a subject in different culinary arts programmes. Candidates should have passed Class 12 in any stream from a recognized board of education with English as a core subject
Candidates should score minimum 45% - 60% aggregate marks in Class 12th

National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the NCHM JEE 2022 admit card in online mode tentatively in the first week of June 2022 on the official website, nchmjee.nta.nic.in. Visit the official website of NCHM JEE, nchmjeenta.nic.in. Click on the ‘NCHM JEE 2022 admit card’ tab. Enter your application number and date of birth. NCHMCT JEE 2022 admit card will appear on the screen. Download the admit card and take multiple printouts of the same for future reference. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information.

So, in response to your question. NCHMCT (National Center for Health Metrics and Technology ( NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR HOTEL MANAGEMENT AND CATERING TECHNOLOGY). The examination must be completed in the month of May. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, it has been postponed till June 18th, 2022. The admission cards are expected to be released in May. They did not however, they will release them. They will create an account for you on their official website. Please keep yourself up to date.
