Steps to fill the AIHMCT Application Form 2026

• Step 1: Start by entering your full name exactly as it appears on your official documents (school certificates or ID).

• Step 2: Select the category of your parents’ service (Army, Navy, Air Force, Assam Rifles, Paramilitary, or Civilian) if any.

• Step 3: Enter the service number and rank of your parent. If you selected “Civilian,” write “NA” in the service number field.

• Step 4: Fill in your parents’ names and select whether they are serving or retired from the service.

• Step 5: Choose your gender and enter your date of birth in the correct format (DD/MM/YYYY).

• Step 6: Enter your academic details—year of passing and marks/percentage—for Classes X, XI, and XII. Select whether XII is pursuing or has been completed.

• Step 7: Candidates also need to mention the relevant contact details of their parents, such as their mobile number and email ID (if applying through the downloaded application form).

Documents Required for AIHMCT 2026 Application

During the process of filling out the Army Institute of Hotel Management application form 2026, candidates need to upload the following documents as well. The list of documents is given below.

• The merit list for candidates will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in Class X and Class XII. As a result candidates need to upload copies of both certificates when applying. The Google Document only requires candidates to mention the necessary details like CGPA or grade percentage.

• In the event of a candidate appearing for their Class XII exams, provisional admission will be granted to students based on Class XI marks. However, final admission will be based on meeting eligibility criteria.

Aside from the certificates mentioned above, candidates who are children of the following categories of Armed forces personnel are eligible and required to submit the relevant certificates (as given against the category) as proof of their eligibility for admission.

• Children of serving Army personnel with a minimum of 10 years of continuous service in the Army (Submit Certificate No 1).

• Children of ex-Armed forces personnel granted/awarded regular pension, liberalized family pension, family pension or disability pension at the time of their superannuation, demise, discharge, release medical board / invalid Medical Board. This includes wards of recruits medically boarded out and granted disability pensions. (Submit Certificate No 1)

• Children of Ex-Armed Forces Personnel who have sought discharge or release after 10 years of service (Submit Certificate No 1).

• Adopted child of Army personnel if adopted at least five years prior to seeking admission. (Submit Certificate No 2).

• Step children are eligible provided they are born from a wedding where at least one parent belonged to the Army who is otherwise eligible (Submit Certificate No 2).

Candidates can access these certificates, which are to be attached to the application in the official Prospectus of the institute.
