IHM Chennai Eligibility Criteria 2026

Aspirants applying for admission must fulfil the IHM Chennai eligibility criteria that is strictly under the IHM Chennai admission guidelines. IHM Chennai BSc. and M. Sc admissions are done on the basis of the NCHM JEE 2026 score. The entrance exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency. • A candidate under the general category must not be more than 25 years of age as of July 1, 2022, while for SC/ST candidates there is an age relaxation up to 28 years.

• Candidates must pass in the 10+2 system of Senior Secondary examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects.

• For a diploma in food production, successful completion of H.S.C. (12th class of 10+2 pattern) or equivalent qualification with English as one of the subjects in the final examinations is required.

IHM Chennai Admission Process 2026

Candidates who are planning to take admission into IHM Chennai for any B.Sc, M. Sc or any diploma courses has meet the eligibility criteria first. The entrance exam is conducted by National Testing Agency and candidate has to get a good score in NCHMCT JEE. The IHM Chennai application process is set by NCHMCT. Candidates need to submit the application form along with the application fee to appear in the examination. Candidates need to clear NCHMCT JEE and has to attend the counselling process after the examination is conducted. The steps to fill the application form are mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of NCHMCT www.ntanchm.nic.in to fill the online application form.

Step 2: Fill your personal details after which an application number will be generated. Save this number and also generate a password for all future logins.

Step 3: Login to your account to fill the application form.

Step 4: Upload scanned images of your signature (between 4 KB and 30 KB) and passport-size photograph against a black/white background (between 10 KB and 200 KB). All the scanned images should be uploaded in JPG/JPEG format only.

Step 5: Pay the application fee using Debit/Credit Card/ Net Banking.

Step 6: After receiving the confirmation, download the application form and take a printout for future reference.
