Hospitality Tourism Colleges in Delhi NCR: Admission Process
For UG: -
The student should first complete all the eligibility criteria given or stated by different colleges.
After which many colleges give admission on merit basis. Colleges which give admission on merit basis declare cutoffs for students that result in their 10+2 examinations. The students who have scored equal to that cutoff or more than that will get admission in college.
Many colleges also give admission on entrance exam basis. Students need to appear for certain entrance exams which are acceptable by the college. For Hospitality there are no certain fixed exams but there are certain common tests for the same. After appearing in the exams, the colleges declare cutoffs and students who have scored equal to that cutoff or more than that will get admission in college. (Some of the entrance exams conducted on national level is NCHMCT)
After this exams basis many colleges keep counselling and interview rounds.
Students who pass all the rounds get admission in that college.
For PG: -
For PG Courses also there are 2 different procedures that are entrance based and merit based.
Merit based exams means the admission will be given on the scores obtained in their bachelor’s degree.
Entrance exams means the admission will be given on results of certain entrance exams for which students need to appear in those entrance exams. (Some entrance exams such as NCHM JEE and MAH HM CET are national level exams)
After this exams basis many colleges keep counselling and interview rounds.
