• The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
• The applicant should have completed a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology or its equivalent from an institution that is either recognized by AICTE or approved by the Central/State government.
• The applicant must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation degree.
• For candidates belonging to backward class categories, economically weaker section, and persons with disabilities (from Maharashtra State only), the minimum score requirement is 45%.

Note: Candidates appearing for the final year of qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for MAH MHMCT CET 2026.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell opened the MAH MHMCT 2026 application from January 7, 2026 till February 23, 2026. The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell released the MAH MHMCT CET 2026 exam pattern. The exam will be conducted in online mode that includes a total of 50 questions for 100 marks. The MAH MHMCT CET exam pattern provides crucial information such as the examination mode, total time, marking system, section count, and the test’s objective. The test paper is segmented into five sections: Food and Beverage Operation, Food Production, Rooms Division, English, and a section related to the Hospitality and tourism industry.

The State CET cell of Maharashtra has issued the MAH MHMCT CET admit card 2026 on March 22, 2026. Candidates need to log in using their registration number and password on the official website.  It’s essential to take a printout of the admit card, as it is a mandatory document for entry into the examination hall.

The CET Cell Maharashtra has released the MAH MHMCT CET 2026 answer key on April 30, 2026. Candidates can download the answer key through their login on the official website. The deadline to submit the objections for the MAH MHMCT CET answer key 2026 is May 2, 2026. Candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 1000 per objection. After considering the objections, the authorities will release the final answer key.
