MAH MHMCT CET Eligibility Criteria 2025

• The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
• The applicant should have completed a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology or its equivalent from an institution that is either recognized by AICTE or approved by the Central/State government.
• The applicant must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation degree.
• For candidates belonging to backward class categories, economically weaker section, and persons with disabilities (from Maharashtra State only), the minimum score requirement is 45%.

Note: Candidates appearing for the final year of qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for MAH MHMCT CET 2025.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell released the MAH MHMCT CET 2025 application form on January 4. Eligible candidates can fill the application form of MAH MHMCT CET 2025 and submit it before the deadline along with the necessary application fee. The MAH MHMCT CET application form last date is January 20, 2025.

MAH MHMCT CET 2025 registration fee varies based on the candidate’s category. For the General category, it is Rs 1200, while for reserved categories, it is Rs. 1000. The payment of the MAH MHMCT CET application fees has to be made online using internet payment, Credit Card/ Debit Card (Rupay/Visa/Master Card Card/Maestro), Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets/UPI.

• Proceed by clicking on the ‘New registration’ button.
• A provisional registration number and password will be automatically generated.
• Use the credentials sent to your email to login back into the system.
• Open the MAH MHMCT CET 2025 application form and fill in the required details.
• Upload the necessary documents and click submit.
• Pay the application fee. 
• Download the application form and take a printout of the same for future reference.

• Candidates will be required to submit the Caste Certificate, Caste Validity Certificate and Non Creamy Layer Certificate (Valid up to 31/03/2026) if applicable at the time of filling CAP Application form to be considered under category. 
• Candidates will be required to submit Economically Weaker Section Certificate if applicable at the time of filling CAP Application form.  
• Candidates will be required to submit Persons with Disability (PWD) Certificate if applicable at the time of filling CAP Application form.

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell released the MAH MHMCT CET 2025 exam pattern. The exam will be conducted in online mode that includes a total of 50 questions for 100 marks. The MAH MHMCT CET exam pattern provides crucial information such as the examination mode, total time, marking system, section count, and the test’s objective. The test paper is segmented into five sections: Food and Beverage Operation, Food Production, Rooms Division, English, and a section related to the Hospitality and tourism industry.
