The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, conducts the MAH BHMCT CET each year to help candidates seek admission for a Bachelor's in Hotel Management at participating institutes in the exam. The tentative MAH BHMCT CET 2026 entrance exam dates have been released on the official website. The MAH BHMCT CET 2026 exam dates are scheduled for April 28, 2026 to April 30, 2026. The MAH BHMCT CET 2026 Notification Date was on November 21, 2025 and carried the details for the entrance exam syllabus, exam pattern and tentative exam dates. The MAH BHMCT CET 2026 Application portal is yet to open for the 2026 round and will accept applications from December 2025 onwards, tentatively. The MAH BHMCT CET 2026 entrance exam will be conducted in March 2026 tentatively with the results being declared in May 2026. Candidates need to know that the MAH BHMCT CET 2026 round has made a few changes in the exam pattern and syllabus. An official notice has been issued by the State Common Entrance Test Cell where they decided to conduct a single Common Entrance Test (CET) for BHMCT and BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM courses, titled as MAH–B. HMCT/BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM–CET 2026. This decision has been taken as the above courses share common eligibility criteria. Candidates will also have an extra subject for the MAH BHMCT CET entrance exam called Computer Basics.
MAH BHMCT CET is conducted for admission to the undergraduate programme. For the bachelor's level, admission will be granted to the BHMCT course. The authorities conduct the MAH BHMCT CET 2026 to offer admission to the first year of the four-year full-time graduate degree course in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT). MAH BHMCT CET is conducted once a year.

Candidates applying for MAH BHMCT CET 2026 are required to check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. A candidate must be a citizen of India.
Candidates who belong to the general category should have cleared the HSC exam or its equivalent with 45% marks in aggregate.
Aspirants who fall in the PwD category, reserved categories and economically weaker section and have domicile of Maharashtra should have passed the HSC exam or its equivalent and scored at least 40% marks in aggregate.
People who belong to the backward class need to score at least 40% marks in aggregate.
Candidates appearing for the final year of qualifying examination are also eligible to apply.
For the MAH BHMCT CET 2026, a single CET will replace the two separate CETs previously conducted for B. HMCT and BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM courses. This decision has been taken as the above courses share common eligibility criteria, making a unified examination suitable for all candidates.
The Maharashtra State CET cell will release the MAH BHMCT CET 2026 application form at cetcell.mahacet.org. The MAH BHMCT CET application form will be released in December 2025 tentatively. Candidates keen to obtain admission to the BHMCT programme need to register and apply before the deadline.
During MAH BHMCT CET 2026 registration, candidates need to submit personal & academic information, upload documents and make payment of the application fee online. The authorities will release the MAH BHMCT CET cutoff 2026 along with the CAP results. The MAH BHMCT CET 2026 cutoff will be determined considering the following.
The MAH BHMCT CET counselling and seat allotment 2026 will be carried out through a Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Candidates who have a valid score in the MAH BHMCT CET 2026 exam will be eligible to register for counselling and fill in their preferred choice of college and course. Based on the rank secured in the MAH BHMCT entrance exam, candidates will be called for the counselling process.
The shortlisted candidates need to submit their documents for verification or can opt for e-scrutiny as per the schedule, and will have to pay the fees. Finally, the candidates will be allotted admission into the college.

1st Stage: Registration & Fee Payment - Log in to the candidate portal by using the valid credentials. Candidates have to enter all the necessary details and upload the required documents. Then counselling fee payment has to be done as per the category.

2nd Stage: Provisional List Announcement - The names of the shortlisted candidates will be published as a provisional merit list. They can submit their grievances along with the requisite documents at the facilitation centre.
3rd Stage: Release of Final Merit List - The authorities release the final merit list of MAH BHMCT CET 2026 counselling. Students who will be shortlisted for the CAP rounds will have to report at the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) for the document verification process and visit the allotted institute/college to complete the admission process.

The application window for MAH Hotel Management Common Entrance Examination was closed on May 19, 2022. After that the last date to apply for MAH HMCET was not extended. All the candidates need to apply within the last date in online mode. There is no provision for you to apply now as the last date is already over. Maharashtra Bachelor of Hotel Management Common Entrance Test results will be declared today that is on 20th October 2021. The officials have not yet declared the results. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information. MAH BHMCT CET will be held on October 8 in online mode. MAH BHMCT CET will be conducted as a computer-based test. The MAH BHMCT CET result 2021 will be declared in online mode in the form of a MAH HM CET score. State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will conduct MAH HM CET 2021 counselling soon. After the results are declared and if you are eligible for counselling then you are supposed to participate in the counselling.
