NCHM JEE Eligibility Criteria 2019 - The National Testing Agency (NTA) will mention the eligibility criteria of NCHM JEE 2019 for all candidates who will register for the entrance exam. Candidates must ensure that they meet NCHM JEE eligibility criteria 2019 before they start filling the application form. According to NCHM JEE 2019 eligibility criteria, candidates will have to meet the age limit as well as the requisite academic qualification. NCHMCT will also mention the parameters for physical fitness which the candidates must meet.In the past, National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), the body which conducted the entrance test used to mention the eligibility criteria for NCHM JEE 2019. NCHM JEE 2019 Eligibility Criteria- Qualifying Exam

NCHM JEE eligibility criteria 2019 regarding the qualifying exam is given below. Candidates will also get to know about the subjects which they must have in their 10+2.

  • Candidates who will be appearing in 10+2 or equivalent exam will be eligible to appear in NCHM JEE 2019.

  • It is compulsory for candidates to have English as one of their subjects in 10+2. English has to be a subject of study (functional, elective or core) and it is compulsory for candidates to pass in it.

  • Candidates must pass in 10+2 of Senior Secondary Exam (SSE) or any other equivalent exam.

  • According to eligibility criteria of NCHM JEE 2019, candidates will be offered admission on a provisional basis if they fail to provide proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) at the time of counselling. Candidates will have the option to submit the proof of clearing the qualifying exam at the time of admission or by last week of September 2019.

  • As per NCHM JEE eligibility criteria 2019, candidates will be offered admission only after the documents of candidates have been verified. The authorities reserve the right to cancel the admission of candidates who are found to be ineligible even after they have been offered admission to a particular college or institute.

List of qualifying exams for Indian Students

Candidates can go through the names of the qualifying exam that are given below in the table:

H.S.C. Vocational Examination which has been approved by SCVT and NCVT of the state concerned

Plus two level exam in the 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education of any recognized State Board/Central such as State Boards of Secondary Education, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE)

5.

Senior Secondary School Examination (SSSE) conducted by the National Open School (NOS) with At least five subjects including English as one of the Subjects. The result for the same should be provided by last week of September.

6.

Public School, University or Board Examination in India or in a foreign country which is accorded recognition by Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education

General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (Cambridge/London/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level

NCHM JEE Eligibility Criteria 2019 pertaining to Age Limit

According to the eligibility criteria of NCHM JEE 2019, the authorities have also mentioned the age limit for candidates belonging to different categories.

Upper age limit is 22 years as on 01.07.2019

SC and ST

Upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.07.2019

Candidates belonging to general and OBC category, if they are born on or after July 1, 1996, they will also be eligible to appear for the NCHM JEE 2019.

Candidates belonging to SC, ST category, if they are born on or after July 1, 1993.

For the physically challenged candidates, the upper age limit will be in accordance to their respective category.

 

Eligibility Criteria for NCHM JEE 2019 Pertaining to Physical Fitness

Candidates who qualify the entrance exam, they will have to provide a physical fitness certificate during the time of admission. This particular certificate will have to be provided by a registered medical practitioner.
