NCHM JEE Counselling 2018 - NCHM JEE 2018 online registration and choice filling for the third and final round had started from June 25, and concluded on June 28. Choice filling for round 2 was commenced from June 14 onwards. Candidates could fill their choices till June 17. The online registration and choice filling for first and second round of NCHM JEE 2018 counselling was done between May 26 and June 4. Choice locking for the same started on June 3. The admissions conducting body holds three rounds of counselling of NCHM JEE 2018 on merit basis. While the first round of seat allotment took place on June 6, that for the second round happened on June 18. The spot round of NCHM JEE counselling 2018 took place between June 25 and 28. NCHM JEE counselling 2018 includes checking of candidates’ eligibility, document verification, depositing counselling and first-semester fee, along with the opportunity for choosing institutes as available at the time of counselling based on their All India Rank (AIR). As many as 58 centrally funded, state-funded and private institutes will give admissions for over 8,000 seats on the basis of candidates’ performance in NCHM JEE 2018. Important instructions regarding NCHM JEE 2018 Counselling
Qualified candidates should give maximum number of choices after evaluation of institutes.
If the proof of passing the qualifying exam (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted by provisionally admitted candidates at the time of counselling of NCHM JEE 2018 or admission or latest by last week of September, then their admission will be cancelled.
Secondary Education Board/Pre-University Certificate will be accepted for the date of birth proof for NCHMCT JEE counselling 2018. Candidates failing to do so will not be considered for admissions.
During NCHM JEE 2018 counselling, 5% to 15% extra seats over and above intake may be offered as per requirement to take care of no-shows and dropouts.
A copy of duly attested NCHMCT JEE 2018 admit card has to be deposited with invigilator for his/her signature. It should be preserved and produced for appearing during NCHM JEE counselling 2018 while second copy of the admit card shall be retained at the test centre.
Details of NCHM JEE Counselling 2018 through NIC on behalf of NCHMCT
Online registration-It is compulsory for all eligible candidates to be considered for first and second round of counselling of NCHM JEE 2018. The credentials declared by them in the NCHMCT JEE 2018 application form cannot be changed at the time of NCHMCT JEE counselling 2018. But during NCHM JEE registration procedure, eligible candidates can update their personal information.
Choice filling & locking- Registered candidates should fill their choices of institutes and lock them as well. The list of choices will be used for the first two allotment rounds. Candidates can make online choice modifications and lock them again in second round of NCHM JEE counselling 2018. Choices should be filled in order of preference.
Online seat allotment-Seats will be offered to the qualified candidates on the basis of their AIR, category, choices and seat availability. The result of NCHM JEE 2018 seat allotment will be declared online.
Reporting to Reporting Centres (RCs) after seat allotment and fee payment-Candidates, who have been allotted a seat, will have to report physically at the designated RC for document verification, fee payment, choice upgradation and collection of provisional admission letter. At the time of reporting, fee payment of Rs.57,500/- (Rs.1000/- counselling fee+Rs.56500/- 1st semester fee) through RTGS/e-challan payment with State Bank of India has to be made.
Withdrawal of allotted seat and refund rule-The allocated seat can be cancelled and refund procedure can be started by a candidate. Fee refund for cancellation of seat allocation will be processed only after receipt of required documents after deduction of Rs.1000. The fee will be refunded within a period of 45 days from the date of commencement of academic session.
About NCHM JEE 2018 Spot Round Counselling
All the RCs will conduct spot round of NCHM JEE 2018 counselling where following candidates will be eligible-
Eligible candidates, who did not register during main counselling (absentees)
Registered in the first round of counselling of NCHM JEE 2018 and got seat allotment in first and second round, but not reported at admission centre
Eligible candidates, who have withdrawn before spot round
All provisionally admitted candidates
Admission to allotted institute and hostel allotment-Candidates, who have taken provisional admission in NCHM JEE 2018 counselling round one, two or spot round will be required to report at the allotted institution along with allotment letter and original testimonials with attested copies for completing the admission formalities.
Withdrawal and Refund Policy
A: When 100% of the fee is permitted except the NCHM JEE 2018 counselling fee of Rs.1,000 only
Candidates, who were not allocated seat during first, second and spot round of NCHM JEE counselling 2018
Those, who have been allocated seat during first and second rounds of NCHMCT JEE 2018 counselling but withdrew online as per schedule
B. Where part refunds of the total fee are permitted (except counselling fee of Rs.1,000)
Candidates, who were allocated seats during first, second and spot rounds of NCHM JEE counselling, and could not withdraw through the system and not reported for admissions at the allocated institute
Those, who have been allocated seat via first, second and spot rounds of counselling of NCHM JEE 2018, reported to the allotted institute, but did not attend class as well as cancelled their seat online
