This interview with Yugantar Singh Bhati, an alumnus at UEI Global Jaipur is presented to you by Careers360. In this interview, Yugantar shares his experience at UEI Global, Jaipur.
Careers360: Tell us something about yourself such as from which place are you from?
Yugantar: My Name is Yugantar Singh Bhati. I am from the village of Laadnu, District Nagore, Rajasthan. Currently pursuing a Degree in Hospitality Management from UEI Global Education Jaipur.
Careers360: Presently which course are you pursuing and in which year are you?
Yugantar: I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management.
Careers360: Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined the institute?
Yugantar: No, I did not face any difficulty. The counsellors at UEI Global supported us in all possible ways, which made the transition smoother.
Careers360: What activities are offered in the institute? Are there any clubs etc for the various extracurricular activities? Which ones have you taken up and are a part of?
Yugantar: The institute offers a variety of extracurricular activities (Food festival, UCC and other national events), including sports, cultural events.
Careers360: Describe a typical day at your institute – what do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?
Yugantar: A typical day starts with waking up at around 7:00 am, after that, reaching my campus around 9:20 am as attending lectures during the day with practical learning. After day I usually go home around 3:30 pm or sometimes by 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm, then I take some rest and go out to play outdoor games. After dinner, I usually revise my notes or work on assignments before going to sleep around 10:00 pm.
Careers360: Tell us about the faculty-student ratio here and about the teacher-student relationship in your understanding.
Yugantar: The teacher-student relationship is very interactive and supportive. Faculty members are approachable and always encourage us to ask questions, which makes learning more Effective.
Careers360: What facilities do you have on the campus? What do you like here the most, which you feel is unique and differentiating?
Yugantar: The campus has state-of-the-art classrooms, Training & amp Practical labs and library. What stands out the most is the innovation lab, which really differentiates the campus from others.
Careers360: How comfortable are your hostels and how about the cleanliness factor over there?
Yugantar: UEI Global has tie-ups with PG near the Institution. They are quite comfortable with spacious rooms, good ventilation, and all necessary facilities. Cleanliness is maintained regularly, and the housekeeping staff ensures the place stays clean. Including a hygienic food facility.
Careers360: What about the medical facilities? Can you avail requisite medical attention if needed in an emergency?
Yugantar: The campus has a Medical kit. In case of an emergency, we can easily avail of medical attention, and there is also a tie-up with nearby hospitals for more specialised care if needed.
Careers360: How do you balance your studies, projects, exams and other activities?
Yugantar: Time management is key. I prioritise tasks, make a schedule, and ensure that I allocate time for both academics and extracurricular activities. I also make sure to take breaks to avoid burnout.
Careers360: Tell us about the clubs and societies at the campus and how significant are they from your point of view or students point of view?
Yugantar: The clubs and societies are a vital part of campus life. They provide a platform for students to explore their interests, develop skills, and even network. From my perspective, these activities help us unwind, meet new people, and grow holistically.
Careers360: Is there any in-house magazine or journal for the latest events or happenings at the institute?
Yugantar: Currently, there is no official in-house magazine or journal. However, all the latest updates and happenings around the campus are regularly shared through notice boards, social media platforms, and during college events. Students are always informed and encouraged to take part in various activities and celebrations.
Careers360:What are the popular hangouts at the institute? What, according to you, are the most-visited places nearby?
Yugantar: Jaipur is a beautiful and well-developed city, and our campus is located in a lively area. On campus, students often hang out near the cafeteria or in common areas during breaks. Outside the campus, popular spots include nearby cafes, shopping centres, and historical forts. Places like Jal Mahal, Amer Fort, and local street food joints are some of the most-visited locations by students during weekends.
