Oberoi STEP 2024 not only evaluates the OCLD eligibility criteria but also some skills that the candidates must possess to qualify for the programme. The following are the required skill set to appear for Oberoi STEP 2024:

Oberoi STEP Eligibility Criteria 2024: General

candidates have to fulfill certain Oberoi STEP 2024 eligibility criteria to get admission in the courses offered by Oberoi, which are as follows:

  • Candidates should be between 18 and 20 years of age, as on August 15, of the year of joining the programme.

  • Candidates must have completed Class 12 by July 1, of the year of joining, from a board that is recognised by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), India.

  • Candidates who are appearing for their final board exams can also apply.

  • The admission will be provisional and subject to cancellation if candidates fail to provide proof of passing the qualifying examination (10+2 or it’s equivalent) at the time of counselling, as per the Oberoi STEP eligibility criteria.

  • Candidates must have English as one of their subjects in 10+2 and pass it. Candidates must have a Class 10 English score of 70 per cent or above. In CBSE, this is equivalent to a B2 grade or a 7 grade point or above.

  • Candidates will be admitted only after the successful verification of documents. The authorities reserve the right to cancel the admission of candidates if they are found to be ineligible even after being offered admission to the programme.

Oberoi STEP 2024 Courses offered

Candidates who want to get admission in hospitality courses at the institute have to meet the eligibility criteria for Oberoi STEP according to their chosen course. The Courses offered at Oberoi STEP 2024 programme are:

  • Hotel Operations Programme (Front Office /Food and Beverage Service focus):

Candidates should note that after completing the STEP programme successfully, they will receive a Bachelor of Tourism Studies (BTS) degree from IGNOU and a Certificate of Proficiency from The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development.
