MP BHMCT Admissions Eligibility Criteria 2023

Candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria specified by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh. MP BHMCT admissions eligibility criteria 2023 are:

• A candidate must be a permanent resident of India

• Candidates must have cleared class 12th with at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC, ST, OBC categories of Madhya Pradesh)

• Only the permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh or India is allowed to get admission.

Madhya Pradesh BHMCT 2023 Counselling

MP BHMCT Counselling 2023 is being conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh (DTE) for granting BHMCT admission which is offered to shortlisted candidates. Candidates are required to carry necessary documents when participating in MP BHMCT counselling 2023.

Steps to Register for BHMCT Counselling Process 2023

Candidates must follow the given steps to register for MP BHMCT counselling 2023:

• Visit the official website of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh.

• Choose the program for which you are applying for admission.

• Click on the “Apply for Counselling” button.

• Once you have registered for the counselling process, you can log in the page to fill out the application form.

• Fill all the required details in the application form.

• Proceed to attach documents such as passport-sized photograph and mark sheets.

• Once done, submit the application form.

• Proceed to the choice filling process and take the print out of the confirmation page or future reference purposes.

MP BHMCT 2023 Admission Merit List

Once the choice filling process is over, the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh will release an MP BHMCT admission merit list 2023 after round 2 counselling on August 28, 2023 which will contain the names of all selected candidates. The merit list of candidates after round 1 counselling has been released on July 24, 2023. The merit list of MP BHMCT admission 2023 will be prepared according to the marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying examination. Selected candidates will be called for the online off-campus admission process.

MP BHMCT Admission Process 2023

Admission to the colleges will be done on the basis of a merit list. Only those candidates whose names are in the merit list will be called for the admission process. Admission for the NRI candidates will be done for those institutions that have got permission from the appropriate authority to fill 5% of the sanctioned intake by NRI candidates only.

Besides this, candidates who have secured equal marks in the qualifying examination will be selected on the basis of their age. Preference will be given to the older candidate. Around 10% weightage in the qualifying marks will be provided to the candidates who have won Gold Medal in the National level Sports Competition. Those who have qualified the qualifying examination with grace marks are also eligible to apply for admission. However, the examination body will not include the grace marks for selection.

MP BHMCT Admission 2023: Seat Allotment Process

The officials will allocate the seats to candidates who will clear all the rounds of the counselling process. You are advised to go through some important points for the seat allotment process of Madhya Pradesh BHMCT admissions given below.

• Reserved categories candidates who have secured a place in the merit list of the unreserved category will be considered for the seat allotment process under unreserved category.

• Candidates of reserved category will be called in a specific order i.e Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Tribes/ Scheduled Castes to fill the vacant seats of general category

• If some seats remain vacant after the completion of the first round of BHMCT MP counselling then the decision regarding the second round of counselling will be taken by the managing authority. The decision will be made after considering the number of vacant seats.
