The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has concluded MAH MHMCT CET exam on August 02 in online mode. MAH MHMCT CET 2022 result date will be notified soon. Candidates can download the MAH HMCT CET scorecard 2022 from the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
State CET cell issued the MAH M.HMCT CET 2022 admit card on July 23 in online mode. Earlier the MAH M.HMCT CET exam was scheduled on June 27 as a computer-based test. The MAH M.HMCT CET 2022 registration closed on May 11. Candidates could register for MAH HM CET 2022 exam on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org by providing their application number and date of birth.
MAH M.HMCT CET 2022 is conducted for admission to the two-year full-time post-graduate degree course in Hotel Management and Catering Technology (M.HMCT). After the declaration of the MAH HM CET 2022 result, centralized counselling (CAP) and seat allotment will take place whose registration will commence. The admissions to the institutes will be based on the score of CET. The institutes in which admission is granted are approved & recognized by the Government of Maharashtra.
An allotment letter will be issued against the name of those candidates who will be allocated seats in one of the MAH MHMCT participating colleges which have to be downloaded by the candidates to be used during the seat acceptance procedure. The allotment of seats will be carried out according to the merit, seat availability and choices filled by the candidates. After being allocated seats, the candidates will have three options to choose from - Freeze, Float and Slide. The candidates can use these options to accept the seats allocated to them, wait for the better options and let go of the allocated seats respectively. Those candidates who choose to accept the seats allocated to them will be required to visit the Institute/College to confirm their admission. The final admission will be subject to the candidate's completion of the admission formalities and payment of the admission fee.
What is MAH M.HMCT CET?
Maharashtra Hotel Management Common Entrance Test (MAH HM CET), the state-level entrance exam is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra for admission to the Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT) programmes offered at the Master's level. The bachelor's level is called the MAH Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Common Entrance Test (MAH BHMCT CET). The test for the Master's level is called the Master of Hotel Management and Catering Technology Common Entrance Test (MAH MHMCT CET).
MAH HM CET is conducted to provide admission to candidates in colleges or universities that offer MHMCT programmes which are approved and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to any of the universities in Maharashtra State. The Maharashtra Hotel Management Common Entrance Test (MAH HM CET) is an online entrance exam conducted in different cities across India. All candidates who are Indian nationals are eligible to apply for MAH HM CET 2022 exam.

MAH HM CET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
The candidate should fulfill the eligibility criteria in order to appear for the M.HMCT CET 2022 exam. The conditions are as follows:
(i) The candidate should be a citizen of India.
(ii) The candidate must have completed his/her bachelor's degree in hotel management from AICTE recognized or Central/State government-approved institutions or its equivalent, with minimum 50 % marks. In the case of candidates from backward class categories and persons with a disability, they must have secured at least 45% marks (belonging to Maharashtra State only)
(iii) Candidates who are in their final year of graduation are also eligible to appear for the M.HMCT-CET exam.

The candidates who have successfully filled the MAH CET registration form can avail the correction facility till June 30. The application form for MAH MHMCT CET 2022 was available till May 11. The fee for the application form varies category-wise. It is Rs 1000 for the General category while Rs. 800 for reserved categories. Candidates can pay the fees in online mode - debit card, credit card, cash cards or mobile wallets.
Steps to Fill MAH M.HMCT CET 2022 Application Form
Step 1 - Go to the official website to register (http://cetcell.mahacet.org/) and click on the option "MAH M.HMCT-CET 2022" which will open a new screen.
Step 2 - Click on the 'New registration' tab
Step 3 - Provisional registration number and password will be generated
Step 4 - Re-login by using the credentials sent on the candidate's mail
Step 5 - Fill the details in the MAH HM CET application form 2022
Step 6 - Upload the scanned image of the photograph and the signature
Step 8 - Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before final submit.
Step 9 - Click on the final submit button after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.
Step 10 - Click on the 'Payment' Tab and proceed with payment. Pay the application fee
Step 11 - Click on the 'Submit' button. You can keep the printout for future reference.

MAH HM CET 2022 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of MAH M.HMCT CET is prescribed by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. The exam will be conducted in an online mode. It consists of an overall 50 questions which carry 100 marks. The paper is divided into five sections namely Food and Beverage Operation, Food Production, Rooms division, English, hospitality industry related.

MAH HM CET 2022 Admit Card
The admit card of MAH-M.HMCT CET 2022 has been issued in online mode only for the registered candidates. Candidates can download the MAH M.HMCT CET 2022 admit card in online mode by entering the registration number and password. Candidates must take the printout of the admit card and keep it safely as without it they won't be allowed to enter the examination hall.
