Hello student,
With a rank of around 18,000 in obc category, it becomes difficult to procure a seat in the government IHM's when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, the class rank for the obc category was around 16,000 in the state IHM's. But one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. The specified NCHM JEE rank gives indications for opportunities in top colleges. Some of the government colleges where you may find admission are Chandigarh Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology - Chandigarh or Institute of Hotel Management - Gwalior. Hi, although the results are declared on 15th May 2019, a separate merit list will be announced based on cut off marks. The registration for the online counselling process will start soon in May 2019. The final date isn't out yet. The counselling process will be conducted in different rounds based on the no of seats available.
Based on previous year's cut off ranks, these are the colleges where you are eligible to seek admission:

According to your ranking you aren't eligible to get admission in IHM Hyderabad (Central Government IHM). If you are an OBC or SC or ST, then you can get admission in IHM Hyderabad (Central Government IHM).

According to th NCHM JEE college predictor(i paid money for it myself so if u want, i can give more details of colleges name & all) of careers360, u r good for 36 colleges but u will have a tough time getting in other 26 colleges. Anywayz all the best to you,.hope our ihm journey starts good

I understood your question. May be you would have not asked for their category. Also, in a score of 1 the exam, you would be pushed behind a lot of competitors who had given this exam. Finally, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats. The NCHM JEE rank you obtained is good and you can get a seat in government college either in RIG Institute of Hospitality and Management - Greater Noida or Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology - Silvassa. Here urgent point to note is that closing rank modifies with year.

Sir when will be the 2019 nchmct counselling will start

NCHMCT JEE 2019 Counselling will be started from the fourth week of May 2019.

Closing of registration & choice filling for 1st & 2nd round of counseling will be in the first week of june.

Seat allotment will be done on or after 1st week of june.

Reporting at Admission Centres after 1st round allotment for document verification (10th, 12th Passed, Category Cert. if any) in the 2nd week of june.
