National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination
At the time of admission, the benefit of reservation in the OBCs category is available to only candidates of those castes which are mentioned in the state-wise list of OBCs notified by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. Certificate of OBCs must contain status of Non-creamy layer and should be latest as per the governing law of the Government of India. The OBC applicants who belong to the “Non-Creamy Layer” and whose caste appears in the Central List of the OBCs only, shall be eligible to be considered for admission under the OBC category (Validity period of OBC certificate in respect of “Creamy Layer” status of the applicants as per DOPT Office Memorandum No. 36036/2/2013-Estt. (Res-I) dated 31 March 6 2016). The validity of the non-creamy layer certificate shall be for the financial year 2019-20, issued after 31st March, 2020.

If your seat is confirmed in first round but if you get a seat in better college in second round then you can opt for that seat and can cancel the seat you got in first round. But, if you got a seat in the good branch of IHM in the first round and you do not wish to leave it then advise is not to attend the second round of counselling and continue in the college you already got.

Secondly, If you get seat in first round then don't worry about second round's councelling, you have opportunity to study in other college also. But where you get seat, That seat is confirmed by their side, if you want to change then you can change . You can concern from the resepective college for more information.

National Testing Agency( NTA) has already announced the exam date of NCHM JEE that is August 29, 2020. You can download the admit card of NCHM JEE now. The exam will be conducted in an online mode by visiting the centre.
Due to coronavirus pandemic, an advisory has also been issued in order to ensure your safety. The duration of the exam is 3 hours and the total numbers of marks is 200. There are total 5 sections in the exam : Numerical ability and analytical aptitude, reasoning and logical deduction, general knowledge and current affairs, English language, aptitude for service sector.

The last date to fill NCHMCT JEE application form was extended till May 15, 2020. The exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions.
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, NCHMCT JEE, which was scheduled to be conducted on April 25, 2020, will now be conducted on August 29, 2020, from 3-6 pm. The revised exam date has been announced by the NTA

If you have been allotted a seat at IHM Chennai and you have paid the seat acceptance fee, reported to the reporting centre and selected the "Freeze" option in the 1st counselling round, then you can retain your seat. You can apply for 2nd round counselling but won't be able modify your choices.

Well both are good colleges. But, IHM Bangalore is more good. As per my research, the hostel is 8 km away from college so, metro is best and cheaper option. The mess and the staff are also good. And other preferences such as professors, are well experienced as per the accordance .
