Course Connect: National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM) in three-year degree in BBA in Tourism and Hospitality equips the learner with the nitty gritty of the industry to meet global standards. Across eight semesters the programme introduces students to operations, marketing, personnel management and other sectors to give a comprehensive knowledge of the business world related to the tourism industry.

Why NITHM? NITHM believes in a pedagogy that goes beyond traditional classroom teaching methods. It conducts field trips, educational fairs, conventions, orientation programmes, expert lectures, seminars, workshops, and more. The curriculum of NITHM also includes Industrial Exposure Training (IET) with a compulsory internship of four months. It also provides the opportunity for international internships or exchange programmes to learners in countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, and Latvia.

Selection Process: Applicants for the National Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management (NITHM) can qualify through an Aptitude Entrance Test (UGAT/JEE-NCHMCT/ATMA-UG/EAMCET) or by taking the Analytical Writing Test (AWT) conducted by NITHM. After clearing the entrance test or AWT, selected candidates have to go through a personal interview. Those who successfully pass both levels of evaluation are selected for the BBA programme in NITHM.
