NEW DELHI: National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology( NCHM) and Indira Gandhi National Open University(IGNOU) have invited applications for M.Sc. Hospitality Administration programme offered at institutes of IHM at Noida, New Delhi( Pusa), Chennai. Bengaluru, Lucknow and Kolkata. Admission will be granted on the merit in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). The exam will be conducted on May 16, 2020. Direct admission will also be provided to candidates having minimum two years working experience in the hotel related industry.

Eligibility for admission through JEE: Candidates fulfilling the following eligibility criteria can apply for M.Sc. in Hospitality Administration.

B.Sc. Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from NCHMCT-IGNOU or Bachelors Degree in Hotel Management from AICTE approved Institute or recognized University.
Those appearing in the final semester/final year exam and have secured 55% or more aggregate marks and are able to submit their degree by October 31, 2020 are eligible to apply.
Direct admission without JEE will be granted to the candidates having Bachelor’s degree and minimum two years working experience in 3 star or above rated hotel industry.
Industry sponsored candidates can also get direct admission into M.Sc. HA program without appearing in the JEE. Sponsorship letter from the organization should compulsorily be sent along with the application which has to be submitted latest by April 22, 2020.

Application fee:Applications can be submitted through the link at www.thims.gov.in or through Council’s website. Applicants will have to send print out of the filled in online application form along with DD for application fee and other required documents in favour of NCHMCT payable at Noida or Delhi. Candidates can check here the details of application fee.
Written test results and allotment list will be displayed in the website - www.nchm.nic.in and http://thims.gov.in/ . Seat allotment will be done on the basis of the merit and choice of Institute exercised by candidate.

Yes the dates of
NCHMCT JEE 2020
have been postponed. Earlier the last date to fill the application form was March 31, 2020. Now the date has been extended to April 30 amidst the covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore the exam of NCHM JEE will not be held now on April 25 instead in the third week of May 2020 tentatively. You can check the more proper description here:
