NCHMCT conducts Joint Entrance Exam 2018 on April 28

National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) has conducted Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2018 on April 28 for admissions to Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Hotel Administration programmes. NCHMCT is an autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India that runs and regulates academics for these professional courses that are offered at the affiliated 21 central institutes of hotel management, two new state IHMs (subject to clearance), 20 state government institutes of hotel management, 14 private institutes of hotel management and one public sector undertaking. A total of 8,124 seats are allotted across the NCHMCT participating institutes on merit basis. B.Sc. programmes in hospitality and hotel administration are offered jointly by the NCHM and the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).

NCHM JEE 2018 was conducted between 10 AM and 1 PM. The question paper was bilingual, i.e., in Hindi and English (except for English language). Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) were asked in the entrance exam from below mentioned subjects:.

Result of NCHM JEE 2018 will be declared in online mode by May 18. The NCHM JEE 2018 counselling procedure for the admissions will be held from May 25 to July 22, 2018. The academic session will commence from July 25 onwards.

The eligibility critical for NCHM JEE is as follows,
  • Candidates need to be 10+2 pass
  • Having English subject in 12 is mandatory

Things you need to get clear,
  • Admission will be cancelled if candidate fails to provide passing Certificate of 10+2 on or by sep/30/ 2020.
  • Admission will be confirmed only after certificate verification

Age limit
  • General and OBC upto 25 years
  • SC and ST upto  28 years

NCHMCT JEE is a national level exam conducted once a year by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate courses in hospitality. As per the eligibility to apply for 2020 Exam, The upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.07.2020 for General or OBC category & 28 years for SC and ST as on 01.07.2020.
