National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) has announced the result of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2018 on May 21 in online mode. Earlier, the result declaration was scheduled for May 18, but due to some technical reason, the result date was delayed. Qualified candidates can know the marks obtained in the written entrance exam from the NCHM JEE result 2018.

What after NCHM JEE 2018 result declaration?

Online exceptional updation of candidates profile by NCHMCT is scheduled between May 22 and 25. Registration and choice filling for first and second round of counselling will be done from May 26 to June 4 in online mode. Choice locking can be done on June 3 and 4. The result of first round of seat allotment will be announced on June 6.

Candidates, who appeared in NCHM JEE 2018 on April 28, will be shortlisted on the basis of minimum qualifying marks criteria prescribed by NCHMCT, the autonomous body under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. Over 8,000 seats will be allotted across 21 central institutes of hotel management, 2 new state IHMs under affiliation process (subject to clearance of inspection), 20 state government institutes of hotel management, 14 private institutes of hotel management and 1 public sector undertaking on merit basis.

Are there any concessions for Students Certified with Learning Disability

Hi there,

Yes the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology , has some relaxation for the eligibility criteria for people with differently abled candidate or some kind of impairment ,

  1. 5% of seats across board are reserved for Physically Disabled candidates in all Central & State Government Institutes of Hotel Management. For any category of disability (viz. loco motor, visual, dyslexia, speech, and /or hearing ) benefit would be given to those who have at least 40% physical impairment but able to perform the kitchen and other practical classes required for the course.
  2. The percentage of disability of the candidates will be required to be              certified by Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Central Govt. / State Govt./      Municipal Corporation run Hospitals only,
  3. Dyslexia Certificate should either from the clinical psychologist          department of a Govt Hospital or from a RCI registered clinical            psychologist attached with a registered hospital.

Such candidates are required to produce the original Medical Certificate both at the time of Counselling and at the time of Admission to the Institute. In case of any dispute in determining the eligibility under PD category, the decision of the Medical Board to be constituted by Institute would be final.

Are there any other enterance exams than NCHM JEE for hotel management? are CET and CAT exams for hotel management ? THANKYOU!

no CET exam is not for hotel management course this is MAH HM CET exam which is for hotel management score and if talking about CAT exam so this exam is for all management related course so,  this is also for hotel management course.

Hello student nchmjee is conducted by NTA its a national level exam to take admission in two undergraduate courses - B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration(Generic or Specialization). NCHMCT,
Application form will be available from 1jan 2020to 28 February 2020.
Eligibility criteria is pass in senior secondary school (+2)with English as a mandatory subject.

Registration for NCHMJEE 2020 will starts from 1st January 2020 and EXAMINATION will happens on April 25..And results will be declared on 10 may 2020 in online mode..You can check your result by entering roll number, application Number, date of birth and security number..
