NCHM JEE 2014 Seat Allotment Round 1: Admissions for 7578 seats to be offered

First round of NCHM JEE 2014 seat allotment, a four days long counselling process, began on June 18, 2014. Admissions for nearly 7578 seats will be offered by the exam conducting body National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology to qualifying candidates. The seat allotment round will witness participation of candidates, who are allotted seats, abiding the admission procedure such as fee submission, document verification, and other formalities.

L.K. Ganguli, NCHMCT Director (Accounts & Finance) in a telephonic conversation with Careers360 told that nearly 7578 candidates will be offered admission for B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel administration course in the first round of NCHM JEE 2014 seat allotment, which will conclude on June 23, 2014 at 4:00 pm.

 

Further, he added that candidates allotted with seats, have to necessarily appear at their assigned admission center as per the prescribed time duration. Failing to abide the same will lead to cancellation of allotted seats.

 

National level hotel management NCHM JEE 2014 entrance examination was took by 19,000 test takers on April 26, 2014. The written examination of was qualified by 17, 000 candidates, who are allotted with NCHM JEE 2014 All India Rank as per their performance in the exam. 

 

Candidates participating in the first seat allotment round are required to report at their respective Admission Center with the below mentioned documents-

  • Two passport size photograph
  • Original as well as attested copies of certificates of the class category, for proof of age, high school and intermediate examination passing certificate
  • Candidates, whose intermediate result is awaited, are required to submit an undertaking at admission center
  • Medical fitness certificate from MBBS doctor with his/her registration number
  • NCHM JEE 2014 Admit Card
  • Single demand draft/pay order of Rs 44,250/ only drawn in favour of “NCHMCT” payable at Noida or New Delhi

On the basis of NCHM JEE all India Rank assigned to candidates, admission on 7920 at any one of the participating 21 central government IHMs, 16 state government IHMs and 15 private hotel management institutes will be offered for the academic session 2014-17.

The eligibility critical for NCHM JEE is as follows,
  • Candidates need to be 10+2 pass
  • Having English subject in 12 is mandatory

Things you need to get clear,
  • Admission will be cancelled if candidate fails to provide passing Certificate of 10+2 on or by sep/30/ 2020.
  • Admission will be confirmed only after certificate verification

Age limit
  • General and OBC upto 25 years
  • SC and ST upto  28 years

Hello Aspirant,

NCHMCT JEE is a national level exam conducted once a year by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate courses in hospitality. As per the eligibility to apply for 2020 Exam, The upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.07.2020 for General or OBC category & 28 years for SC and ST as on 01.07.2020.

let me clear your doubt. NTA conduct the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination  (NCHM JEE) in CBT mode for admission to the B.Sc. Course in Hospitality and Hotel Administration(B.Sc.HHA)  across the Country.
