NEW DELHI: Most of the Institute of Hotel Management Colleges(IHM’s) and other hotel and hospitality management institutes have ordered to shut down classes so as to combat the Coronavirus epidemic. With an aim to ensure the reduction of mass gatherings and avoid the spread of the novel coronavirus disease, this step has been taken by all the major institutions. However, there is no information regarding the postponement of hotel management entrance examinations. Students who have already applied to various colleges and institutes and are eagerly awaiting their admissions responses, there is a hustle that an outbreak of coronavirus will impact the admission process. Many of these institutes are switching to digital tools to provide students education from a safe distance from their homes.

Institute of Hotel Management, Catering and Nutrition, Pusa, New Delhi (IHM Pusa), in direction of the city administration has suspended the classes till March 31. They have postponed the events and mass gatherings thus imposing travel restrictions due to the outbreak of the disease. Furthermore, the foreign faculty coming to teach the colleges have been barred.

According to the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai (IHM Mumbai), in addition to suspending the classes till March 31,2020, the Research Project Presentation, Valedictory Function and other extra- curriculum activity will not be organised in this period. They have also advised the students staying in hostels to go back to their home town in this phase. Despite that students are advised to check the official website for time to time updates.

Yes the dates of
NCHMCT JEE 2020
have been postponed. Earlier the last date to fill the application form was March 31, 2020. Now the date has been extended to April 30 amidst the covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore the exam of NCHM JEE will not be held now on April 25 instead in the third week of May 2020 tentatively. You can check the more proper description here:
