All India level National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Joint Entrance Exam (NCHM JEE) was held on April 26, 2014 in offline mode. The written examination is conducted to offer admissions to qualifying candidates for B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration course for the academic year.

The 3 hours exam consisting of 200 questions was divided in 5 sections – English Language, Logical Reasoning, Numerical Ability & Scientific Aptitude, General Knowledge & Current Affairs and Service Aptitude.

As per students, who attempted the test, they rated the overall difficulty level from easy to moderate. Although there were 4 different sets of question papers but the variance was in sequencing of the questions in the sets.

The below given table presents an overall analysis at difficulty level of all sections of the MCHM JEE 2014 exam-

For English Language Section:

The examinees felt that the level of difficulty ranged from easy to moderate and the possible attempts should have been 45 out of the total 60 questions.

For Logical Reasoning Section:

The examinees felt that the section was an easy bet as most of the questions were based on basic logical tricks. There were a total of 30 questions in this section. The possible attempts could have been 20.

Pictorial representation for topics and number of question covered in four sections is given below. Readers have to move computer cursor on each section (English Language, Logical Reasoning, Numerical Ability & Scientific Aptitude, General Knowledge and Current Affairs Section, Service Aptitude) to view topics and number of questions of the topics covered in NCHM JEE 2014 exam. For Numerical Ability & Scientific Aptitude Section:

This section included questions on various topics of arithmetic. The scientific aptitude portion had questions on elementary physics, chemistry and biology. Froma total of 30 questions, it is expected that students should have attempted around 20 questions and the section is rated as easy to moderate.

For General Knowledge and Current Affairs Section:

This section was a little challenging for students as this had a major coverage of questions from hotel industry, static GK and Current Affairs. Possibly, students should have attempted 20 questions out of 30.

For Service Aptitude Section:

For examinees, this is the favorite section of all the sections as there is no negative marking and one can attempt all the 50 questions. The questions were based on work culture in service sector as well as real life situations.

According to students, the level was easy and they were able to solve a good number of questions.

NCHM JEE 2014 score is accepted by 21 Central and 16 State Government Institutes  of Hotel Management.  As many as 15 other private Institutes of Hotel Management offer admission for undergraduate hotel management course. 

 

The exam conducting authority NCHMCT does not  releases NCHM JEE 2014 official answer key. On May 26, 2014 NCHM JEE 2014 online counselling registration is shceduled to begin. Total three rounds of NCHM JEE 2014 Counselling will be held to offer admission to qualifying candidates at any one of fifty-two participating hotel management institutes located in different Indian states.

Hello.
no CET exam is not for hotel management course this is MAH HM CET exam which is for hotel management score and if talking about CAT exam so this exam is for all management related course so,  this is also for hotel management course.

Hello student nchmjee is conducted by NTA its a national level exam to take admission in two undergraduate courses - B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration(Generic or Specialization). NCHMCT,
Application form will be available from 1jan 2020to 28 February 2020.
Eligibility criteria is pass in senior secondary school (+2)with English as a mandatory subject.

Registration for NCHMJEE 2020 will starts from 1st January 2020 and EXAMINATION will happens on April 25..And results will be declared on 10 may 2020 in online mode..You can check your result by entering roll number, application Number, date of birth and security number..

As per the Eligibility, To apply for NCHMCT JEE, the upper age limit is 25 years as on 01.07.2020 for General and OBC category, If you meet this criteria & other eligibility then you can apply for the exam. To check the further eligibility you can go through with the given below link.
