MAH HM CET Counselling 2023 - The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will start MAH HM CET 2023 counselling registration once the official CAP portal is active. MAH HM CET counselling 2023 will be conducted in online mode where the candidates have to first register on the official site, cetcell.mahacet.org, and then be physically present at the centre for counselling.

The MAH HM CET provisional merit list for All India and Maharashtra candidates will be released separately in online mode. The last date to register for MAH BHMCT counselling 2023 will be notified. MAH BHMCT CET 2023 counselling and seat allotment 2023 is carried out through a Centralized Allotment Test (CAP). Students whose names will be on the merit list after clearing MAH HM CET have to participate in the counselling.

In order to participate in the counselling, candidates who appear in MAH BHMCT CET 2023 are required to visit the official website of MHT CET and register themselves. The various stages of MAH BHMCT CET counselling and seat allotment includes filling of the application form, document verification, seat allotment and reporting to their respective institute to lock their seats. The authorities will conduct the MAH HM CET 2023 counselling process in three rounds, depending on the number of seats vacant at the end of each round.

MAH BHMCT CET Cutoff 2023

The minimum marks that candidates must obtain to be eligible for admission are known as MAH HM CET 2023 cutoff. As per the first provisional merit list of previous years, the highest score for the general category was 65 while for Schedule caste the MAH CET score is 53. The score for OBC is 57.38.

How to Participate in MAH HM CET Counselling and Seat Allotment 2023?

Candidates can refer to the steps below to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process of MAH BHMCT CET 2023. The steps that are included in the counselling process involve registration, uploading of scanned images, fee payment for counselling, reporting at admission facilitation centres, and choice filling to name a few.

Steps to Participate in MAH CET Counselling 2023

Step - 1 Register

The qualified candidates who will meet the cutoff will have to register first to take part in MHT CET 2023 counselling. They have to click on the 'New candidate registration' tab. Candidates will be redirected to a new page where they have to enter the following details:

• Full name

• Select country

• Mobile number

• Email ID

• Password

• Confirm password

Note - The password must be between 7 to 15 characters long. The password should contain at least 1-numeric value, 1 small case letter, 1 upper case letter, and a special character.

After entering all the details, candidates have to click on the 'Register' button.

Step 2 - Candidate's Authentication

In this part of the form, candidates have to enter the OTP which will be sent on their registered mobile. After this, they have to click on the 'Submit' button. Candidates are redirected to a new page where they can view their application number and they are asked to log in to complete filling the form.

Step 3 - Login

Applicants have to click on the 'Click here for login' button. They are directed to a new page where they can see do's and don'ts pertaining to the password. They have to enter their application ID and password and then click on the 'login' button.

Step 4 - Candidate Registration Process

In this part of the MAH BHMCT CET counselling form, candidates can see a full flow chart related to the counselling registration process. They have to click on the suitable buttons they are due to fill in the details.

Step 5 - Fill type of Candidature

Candidates have to click on the 'Fill type of Candidature' button and then answer the following questions in Yes or No. On clicking 'Yes' a pop will appear asking 'Are you sure the data you entered is correct'? If you are sure, click on the 'Confirm' button

• Have you appeared for MAH B.HMCT CET 2023?

• Have you appeared for JEE conducted by National Council for H.M.C.T?

After filling in all the details mentioned above, click on the 'Save and Proceed' button. Next, candidates get a new page where they get a message 'Details are saved successfully.' Candidates have to click on the 'Proceed Next Step' button. They are redirected to a new page.

Step 6 - Type of Candidate

In this part of the application form, candidates have to mention their type of candidature. Candidates have to read all the types that claim to click on the button. After saving the type, click on the 'Save and Proceed' button. They receive a pop up asking 'Have you entered the correct data.' They need to click on the 'confirm' button to validate the answer. Post clicking the button, a new page will appear where the type of candidature is mentioned. Next, candidates have to click on the 'Submit and Save' button.

Step 7 - Enter Category Details

In this part of the application form, candidates have to enter the following details

• Do you belong to the General/Reserved category?

• Are you a person with disabilities?

• Do you belong to defence?

Certificate of the Indian Nationality of the candidate

The candidate must be an Indian National and they have to submit any one of the following documents as proof of nationality at the time of verification at FC. They have to click against the document they can provide.

• Certificate of the Indian Nationality of the candidate issued by the Tehsildar/Executive Magistrate/Dy. Collector of the concerned District/Taluka.)

• School Leaving Certificate indicating the nationality of the candidate as 'Indian' Or the place of birth In India.

• Indian Passport in the name of the Candidate, issued by the Government Of India.

• Birth Certificate of the candidate indicating the place of birth in India.

Candidates have to click on the 'Save and Continue' button.

Step 8 - Qualification Details

Candidates have to fill in details as to their class 10 and 12.

Next, candidates have to enter details related to MAH B.HMCT 2023 and JEE conducted by National Council for H.M.C.T. After filling in all the details, candidates have to click on the 'Save and Proceed' button.

Step 9 - Personal Details

Candidates have to enter the following details in the form

• Mother's name

• Date of birth

• Gender

• Are you an orphan (Y/N)

• Annual family income

• Religion

• Mother tongue

• Do you belong to a minority

• UID number

Permanent Address

• Whether your permanent address is in an urban or rural area?

• After filling in all the details, click on the 'Save and Proceed' button.

Step 10 - Upload Documents

Candidates have to upload a recent colored photograph. The size of the photo should be 3.5 cm in width by 4.5 cm in height without a border. The scanned photo with signature should be min. 100dpi so that the file size should not be more than 50KB. The image should be in jpg format.

Step 11 - Make the Payment of Counselling Fee

Candidates can make the payment through net banking, credit card and debit card. The amount that they have to pay is Rs. 800 (may change).

Step 12 - Take the printout of the counselling registration form

After paying the counselling fees, candidates should take a printout of the application form and take it to the facilitation centres for verification purposes.

Step 13 - Reporting at Admission Facilitation Centres (AFC)

The registered candidates for counselling have to report to AFC’s for document verification purposes. They have to carry their original documents, along with a set of attested copies to the facilitation centres. Failing to do so will be disqualified from the admission process. Students will have to carry the following documents for verification purposes.

• Pass Certificate and Mark Sheet of class X & XII

• Category Certificate (if applicable)

Step 11 - Choice Filling

Students have to fill in the names of colleges and courses of their choice in order of their preference.

Step 12 - Release of Provisional Merit List

The authorities release the final merit list of MAH BHMCT CET 2023, which includes the names of shortlisted candidates. Depending on the merit list and choices filled by candidates, the allotment of seats will be held.

Students have to log in to check the status of their seat allotment in MAH BHMCT CET 2023. In case they are allotted seats, students will have to download the allotment letter and go to the centre to choose their preferred option - freeze, float or slide for the allotted seat. Candidates who will be satisfied can lock their seats at the institute. The seats will be allotted to students based on their merit, choice filling and availability of seats.

Checking of Seat Allotment Status: Candidates will have to enter their application ID and date of birth to check if the seat has been allotted to them, or not. If the seat is allotted, students will have to download the allotment letter, wherein they can see the details with respect to the course and college.

Reporting at Admission Reporting Centres (ARC’s): After downloading the allotment letter, students will have to visit their nearest ARC to choose any one of these options - freeze, float or slide for their allotted seat.

Freeze - Students can choose ‘Freeze’ only when they are satisfied with the allotted seat and do not want to go for the next round of counselling.

Float - The float option is for students who want to upgrade the seat allotted to them after accepting a higher preferred choice of course at some other institute. In such a case, the previous allotment will be cancelled if they are allotted a higher choice.

Slide - Candidates who accept the allotted seat, but still wish to upgrade it to a higher preferred course in the same institute, have to choose ‘Slide.’ Once the seat is upgraded, the previous allotment will be automatically cancelled.

Reporting at Allotted Institute - The selected candidates have to visit their respective institutes to confirm their seats and admission. They have to complete their admission formalities and pay the fee.
