MAH HM CET Counselling & Seat Allotment 2019 -State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra released provisional vacancy for CAP round II and provisional category wise seat matrix for CAP round I. Candidates can check the details below in this article. The authorities released MAH HM CET 2019 institute wise allotment list for CAP round I, II and III. The authorities released MAH HM CET 2019 final merit list in online mode for CAP round I, along with the provisional seat matrix. Earlier, the authorities released the provisional merit list for MAH HM CET 2019. State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra started counselling process for MAH HM CET 2019 on June 25, 2019. Previously, the registration date for MAH HM CET 2019 counselling was June 17, 2019, which was cancelled by the authorities. MAH HM CET counselling and seat allotment 2019 is carried out through a Centralized Allotment Test (CAP). Students whose names are on the merit list will be called for counselling. The different stages of MAH HM CET counselling and seat allotment involves filling of the application form, document verification, seat allotment and reporting to their respective institute to lock their seats. The counselling process for MAH HM CET will take place in three rounds for candidates, depending on the number of seats vacant at the end of each round. MAH HM CET entrance exam is conducted in computer-based for undergraduate level programme in Hotel Management and catering technology (HMCT). MAH HM CET Seat Allotment 2019

State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra is conducting MAH HM CET 2019 seat allotment through a Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) in online mode in three rounds. In the first provisional merit list of MAH HM CET 2019, which has been released category-wise, the following details are mentioned:

The final merit list of MAH HM CET 2019 consists of the following details:

Students have to login to check the status of their seat allotment in MAH HM CET 2019. In case they are allotted seats, students will have to download the allotment letter and visit the centre to choose their preferred option - freeze, float or slide for the alloted seat. Those who are satisfied can lock their seat at the institute. The seats will be allotted to students based on their merit , choice filling and availability of seats.

  • Checking of Seat Allotment Status: Students have to enter their application ID and date of birth to check if seat has been allotted to them, or not. If seat has been allotted to them, students will have to download the allotment letter, wherein all the details related to course and college will be mentioned.

  • Reporting at Admission Reporting Centres (ARC’s): Post downloading the allotment letter, students are required to visit their nearest ARC to choose any one of these options - freeze, float or slide for their allotted seat.

Freeze - Students can choose ‘Freeze’ only when they are satisfied with the allotted seat and do not want to participate in next round of counselling.

Float - Students who want to upgrade the seat allotted to them after accepting to a higher preferred choice of course at some other institute, they will have to choose ‘Float.’ In such a case, the previous allotment will be cancelled if they are allotted higher choice.

Slide - Candidates who accepts the allotted seat, but still wish to upgrade it to a higher preferred course in the same institute, they have to choose ‘Slide.’ Upon upgraded seat allotment, the previous allotment will be automatically cancelled.

Reporting at Allotted Institute: The selected candidates have to visit their respective institute to confirm their seat and admission. They have to complete their admission formalities and pay the fee.


MAH HM CET Cutoff 2019

MAH HM CET cutoff is the minimum marks that candidates must obtain to be eligible for admission. As per the first provisional merit list, the highest score for the general category is 65 while for Schedule caste the MHT CET score is 53. The score for OBC is 57.38.


How to Participate in MAH HM CET Counselling and Seat Allotment 2019?

Candidates can refer to the steps below to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process of MAH HM CET. Participation in the counselling process involves several steps, such as registration, uploading of scanned images, fee payment for counselling, reporting at admission facilitation centres, and choice filling to name a few.

Steps to Participate in MAH HM CET Counselling?

Step - 1 Register

The qualified candidates have to register first to take part in the counselling of MHT CET 2019. They have to click on

'New candidate registration' button. Candidates are redirected to a new page where they have to enter the following details:

  • Full name
  • Select country
  • Mobile number
  • Email ID
  • Password
  • Confirm password

Note - The password must be between 7 to 15 characters. The password should contain at least 1-numeric value, 1 small case letter, 1 upper case letter, and special character.

After entering all the details, candidates have to click on 'Register' button.


Step 2 - Candidate's Authentication

In this part of the form, candidates have to enter the OTP sent on their registered mobile. After this, they have to click on 'Submit' button. Candidates are redirected to a new page where they can see their application number and they are asked to login to fill the further details.

Step 3 - Login

Applicants have to 'Click here for login' button. They are directed to a new page where they can see do's and dont's as to the password. They have to enter their application ID and password and then click on 'login' button.

Step 4 - Candidate Registration Process

In this part of MAH HM CET counselling form, candidates can see a full flow chart related to counselling registration process. They have to click on the suitable buttons they are due to fill the details.

Step 5 - Fill type of Candidature

Candidates have to click on 'Fill type of Candidature' button and then answer the following questions in Yes or No. On pressing 'Yes' a pop will appear asking 'Are you sure the data you entered is correct'? If you are sure, click on 'Confirm' button

  • Have you appeared for MA B.HMCT CET 2019?
  • Have you appeared for JEE conducted by National Council for H.M.C.T?

After filling all the details mentioned above, click on 'Save and Proceed' button. Next, candidates are redirected to a new page where they get a message 'Details are saved successfully.' Candidates have to click on 'Proceed Next Step' button. They are redirected to a new page.

Step 6 - Type of Candidate

In this form of application form, candidates have to claim type of candidature. Candidates have to read all the types claim their clicking on the button. After saving the type, click on 'Save and Proceed' button. They receive a pop up asking 'Have you entered the correct data.' They need to click on 'confirm' button to validate the answer. After clicking the button, they are redirected to a new page where the type of candidature is mentioned. Next, candidates have to click on 'Submit and Save' button.

Step 7 - Enter Category Details

In this part of the application form, candidates have to enter the following details

  • Do you belong to General/Reserved category.
  • Do you belong to person with disabilities?
  • Do you belong to defence?

Certificate of the Indian Nationality of the candidate

The candidate must be an Indian National and they are required to submit any one of the following document as a proof of Nationality at the time of verification at FC. They have to click against the document they can provide.

  • Certificate of the Indian Nationality of the candidate issued by the Tahshildar/Executive Magistrate/Dy. Collector of the concerned District/Taluka.)
  • School Leaving Certificate indicating the nationality of the candidate as 'Indian' Or the place of birth In India.
  • Indian Passport in the name of the Candidate,issued by Goverment Of India.
  • Birth Certificate of the candidate indicating the place of birth in India.

Candidates have to click on 'Save and Continue' button.

Step 8 - Qualification Details

Candidates have to fill details related to their 10 and 12th class.

Next, candidates have to enter details related to MAH -B.HMCT 2019 and JEE conducted by National Council for H.M.C.T. After filling all the details, candidates have to click on 'Save and Proceed' button.

After entering all the details, click on 'Save and Proceed' button.

Step 10 - Upload Documents

Candidates have to upload recent colour photo of candidate within last three months. The size of the photo should be 3.5 cm in width by 4.5 cm in height without border. The scanned photo with signature should be min. 100dpi so that the file size should not be more than 50KB. The image should be in jpg format.

Step 11 - Make the Payment of Counselling Fee

Candidates can make the payment through net banking, credit card and debit card, The amount that candidates need to pay is Rs. 800.

Step 12 – Take the printout of Counselling Registration Form

After paying the counselling fees, candidates are needed to take the printout of the filled-in application form and take it to the facilitation centres for verification purpose.
Step 13 - Reporting at Admission Facilitation Centres (AFC)

The registered candidates for counselling have to report to AFC’s for document verification purpose. They have to carry their original documents, along with a set of attested copies to the facilitation centres. Those who fail to report to the facilitation centre will be disqualified from the admission process. Students will have to submit the following document for verification purpose

Step 11 - Choice Filling

Students have to fill the names of colleges and courses of their choice in the order of their preference. It is advisable to candidates to fill maximum choices to stand a high chance for their admission.
Step 12 - Release of Provisional Merit List

The authorities release the final merit list of MAH HM CET 2019, which includes the names of shortlisted candidates. Based on the merit list and choices filled by candidates, the allotment of seats will take place.

If your query is regarding the eligibility criteria then yes, a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects along with English, Chemistry, Biology, as one optional subject or any technical or vocational subject. Candidates belonging to general category must have passed with atleast 50% and candidates belonging to reserved category must have passed with atleast 45% applicable for candidates who are domicile of Maharashtra.

So if you have fulfilled the eligibility criteria then you are eligible.

Hi THERE! hope you are doing great. the eligibility criteria for appearing in Maharashtra CET examination is that you must HAVE at least 50% marks in your class 12 for a general category student while 45% for SC ST student. The candidate must be a citizen of India the 85% of the seats are filled through Maharashtra CET examination while 15% of seats are filled through JEE mains examination which is called all India quota. You can get admission to the colleges of Maharashtra CET by scoring a value score in  Maharashtra CET 2020 examination.

Mht CET is a very competitive examination.
It can be easy or difficult. It totally depends on your preparation.
If you prepared thoroughly and know every concepts then you won't be any difficulty in such examination but yes if you don't prepare then it's going to be very difficult for you.
Hence I advise you to prepare yourself, solve as many as  sample paper you can solve, surely that will help you to make this examination easy.
