AIMA UGAT BHM IBT 2020: Guidelines for IBT- All India Management Association( AIMA) has recently introduced “Remotely Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT)" for UGAT BHM IBT 2020. This test will be conducted on a separate date with candidates having the option to choose either PBT mode or IBT mode. For candidates who will be appearing in UGAT BHM entrance, it becomes necessary to know the guidelines to be followed before opting for the same. AIMA UGAT 2020 IBT registration for phase- II ended on June 29. The admit card for AIMA UGAT IBT 2020 will be released on July 02 for phase 2. What is UGAT BHM 2020 IBT?
IBT is Remotely Proctored Internet Based Test for AIMA UGAT BHM 2020. For taking the test in IBT mode, instead of going to a test centre candidates could do so from the safe confines and convenience of their homes subject to certain conditions. Moreover, they should have a computer together with webcam and internet facilities meeting certain specifications. The sanctity and security of the test are effectively maintained through remote proctoring in dual mode i.e., by employing robust Artificial Intelligence (AI) based tools as also human proctors.

AIMA UGAT IBT 2020: Guidelines
Given below is a detailed description of the prerequisite for attempting the test in IBT mode along with the step by step guidelines to be followed to successfully complete your test.
Step 1. System Requirement for Assessment
Candidates will be required to have a proper network with a good internet connection and the supported browsers in their computer or laptop. Check here.

Step 2. System Requirement for MSB( Mettl Secure Browser)
Mettl Secure Browser (MSB) is a web browser-environment to carry out online exams safely. The candidate needs to install the Safe Exam Browser .exe file in the system which would install all the required packages. Once this is installed, it will work as a separate browser which will close all other browser windows and applications which are running in the background.
Operating System: Windows OS (Version7 and above)
MSB is not supported on any operating system other than Windows (Version 7 Above)
.Dot NET framework: MSB requires dot net framework. The minimum supported version is 4.5.1..NET framework.
Memory : 65MB permanent freespace on the default hard drive.
Important Information regarding MSB
Once the test starts, MSB will not allow you to move out of the application before the test is finished.
MSB will close all the applications running in background for e.g. :
Browsers i.e. Mozilla Firefox, Google chrome, etc.
Other (like Skype etc.) or any unrequired application
Step 3 - Click on Launch Test Button
Candidates are now required to click on the ‘Launch Test’ button. On clicking the button launch test, a new window will open.

Step 4 - Select the appropriate option
If candidates have not installed MSB, they need to click on ‘Download MSB’
If candidates have already installed MSB , they need to click on ‘Proceed to test’ tab
Step 5- MSB Installation Steps
Once the Setup file for MSB is downloaded, open the file to install the MSB browser and select I agree to the license terms and conditions and click on Install
Once the installation is complete,the icon for MS will be available on the system.
Step 6- Starting Test on MSB
Once the test is launched, the candidates will get the above screen, they need to click on
“PROCEED TO TEST” tab and on the next page click on Launch Test Tab to start the test
in MSB browser.
Step 7- Starting Test on MSB
After clicking on the LaunchTest tab, a Pop-up will appear asking to launch the test on MSB.

On launching the MSB browser, a dialogue box will appear (as shown in below image) prompting to close any unrequired applications. In such a case, candidates must close all such applications mentioned on the dialogue box (shown in image) before starting the test. This can be done either by closing those applications or by clicking on the button “OK” to proceed.
Step 8 - Starting Test on MSB
Now candidates will be asked to give permission to share the camera and microphone. Once the permission is granted it will move to the next step as shown in the below picture.
After checking the camera and microphone permission, the test can be started thereafter by clicking on ‘Next'.
Step 9 - Fill the details for Test
In this step of AIMA UGAT BHM IBT 2020, candidates will be required to fill registration details which are given below and click on “I agree to the terms and condition” and click on “Next”.

Step 10 - Snapshot Submission Process
Candidates are required here to submit a snapshot of their face and ID card.
In step1 you must capture their face snapshot and clickon Next
In step2 you must capture the snapshot of their ID card.
Please make sure while clicking the picture that there is enough lighting in the room so that the ID card is captured properly. Kindly click the picture in the outline provided. Candidates need to review the picture, once clicked. Also, once the snapshot of ID card and picture has been captured, candidates need to click on the ‘Submit’ button as shown in the below picture.
Step 11 - Authorization Process
In this stage, candidates have to wait till the snapshots of photo and ID proof get authorized. The process will take around 2-3 minutes for the authorizer to verify one request. In case the details (Face/ID Card snapshot) submitted by candidates are not clear, they will be requested to resubmit the same details. Candidates should not panic in such situations. Click on the “Submit” button and re-submit the required details.
Step 12- Authorization Process
Please read the reason for re-submission message from the authorizer.
Please follow the message from the authorizer and capture the snapshot as per the guideline shared by the authorizer.
Click On Submit button to send the snapshot for authorization
Step 13- Notification for Monitored session will be intimated to candidates
Once the details submitted by candidates get authorized by AIMA, then on the next page the candidates will be able to see a pop-up stating that their test session will be monitored. Now the candidates will have to give their approval to start the test. Without approval, UGAT BHM 2020 IBT mode will not start. To start the test candidates need to click on “Proceed toTest” as shown in the picture below.
Step 14- Test Experience
Post successful authorization candidates will be able to start AIMA UGAT BHM 2020 IBT mode. The picture below can be referred by candidates to check the user interface and how the screen of IBT mode for UGAT BHM 2020 will appear. Candidates will have the options:

Step 15 - Test Experience
After completion of AIMA UGAT BHM 2020 IBT mode, candidates have to submit. He/ She can do so by clicking on the tab “Finish Test” provided at the top right corner of the screen. After clicking on ‘Finish Test’, candidates will be guided to a ‘Test Summary’ page whereby candidates can review all the details. They can either go back by clicking on ‘Cancel’ or proceed to “Submit” by clicking on ‘Yes, Finish Test’ as per their choice.
After clicking on “Yes, Finish Test”, the image shown below will appear. This process completes in around 15 seconds, hence candidates will be requested to wait for the stipulated time for the proper submission.
