• For hotel management courses, there is no necessary stream to pursue but English subject is mandatory, and some colleges also demand math with English as a mandatory subject.

For PG - 

• The candidate should have completed his/her bachelor’s degree under Hotel management.

For UG - 

1. The student should fulfill all the eligibility criteria demanded by their preferred colleges or every govt. College. 

2. Next step is to see that what is the basis on which their preferred college gives admission 

3. There two types of Basis on which admission is provided for Hotel management courses i.e.

• Entrance exam basis herein the college will provide admission to the students based on results they secured in certain entrance exams accepted by the college. In Bangalore, very few colleges accept entrance exams. NCHMCT JEE is one of the national level entrance exams for Hotel management courses. After the students appear in entrance exams, a few days or months later the results are announced, and the colleges also declare their cutoff. The students whose results match the cutoff or is more than that, gets admission in the college. 

• Merit basis i.e. marks scored in class 12th exams. In the merit-based procedure, the admission is given based on marks scored by students in their 10+2 examination. Those colleges who give admission on this basis keep a cutoff for the candidates and students who scored or pass that cutoff in their 10+2 examination can get admission in that college. 

4. The colleges might also keep counselling and personal interview rounds for the candidates. 

5. Students who pass all the above steps will get admission in that hotel management college after they submit their documents and pay the course fees.

It should be noted that every college has different cutoffs and students should see that they are able to pass the cutoff of that college. They will get admission in only those colleges of which cutoffs they were able to pass. 

For PG - 

1. In Post-Graduation also, the process is remarkably similar to the undergraduate process

2. There are also two admission procedures for PG courses i.e.
